Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a title 1 school and this is my first year teaching, so I have mostly hand me down supplies for the classroom. Our school also has a high military population. My room is lacking a lot of creativity and 21st century tools.

My room has creative thinkers who love to learn through the use of technology.

My class is high energy and love to learn new things. I want to make our classroom exciting and fun to be in and I thought if we had a classroom set of headphones we would be able to build stonger 21st century skills. Plus, it can help with .

My Project

If I had a class set of headphones my scholars parents wouldn't have to worry about buying a pair for class. I work at a title 1 school and our population is 85 to 90 percent on free or reduced lunch.

My scholars love being 21st century learner but sometimes it's hard to learn or teach when there are 25 iPads in the room and no headphones.

I know that with a class set of headphones my scholars would have less distractions, my parents wouldn't have to worry about buying them and I would be able to grab my classes attention quicker.
